- On the day that Jesus died he traveled to a place called Jerusalem knowing that he would die for us. Jesus rode in on a donkey people waved palm branches as he came in shouting Hosanna son of David!
- Holy Week
- Jesus shares a meal with his disiples saying take this all of you and eat of it for this is my body which will be given up for you. And he does this knowing he will die.
- Holy Saturday
- On Good Friday Jesus died on the cross for us because he loved us so much. And all along Jesus had known he would die.
- Easter Sunday
- Holy week is time to remember what happened to Jesus. He went through so much pain for us because he loved us.
- Jesus was taken down from the cross and put in a tomb lots of people were sad. Some Romans were placed at the tomb to guard it.
- Jesus had told the disciples that he would die and that on the third day he would rise again. And that came true on what we call Easter Jesus rose from the dead!
