  • let me introduce you to my friend, mrs. membrane!
  • my name is mr. nucleus. I am the control center of this cell. I am like the boss of all the workers here at the cell factory. I control the factory and make sure everything is going well!
  • hello! you can call me cell membrane. I am a protective layer surrounding this cell. I am like a factory worker who brings in supplies, and ships out yummy ice cream treats!
  • that's a good idea, cell membrane!
  • mr. nucleus, you should show them our ribosome, mitochondrion, cell wall, endoplasmic reticulum, and chloroplasts!
  • this here is one of our ribosomes. it produces protein for our cell. it is a bit similar to the ice cream machines that produce all of those yummy ice cream treats!
  • now, here's our mitochondrion! a mitochondrion breaks down sugars Inyo energy. much like a power supply house for an ice cream factory.
  • Next is our cell wall here. A cell wall is a strong, protective, and supportive layer around the cell membrane, much like the walls of an ice cream factory.
