- One of the causes of Maori land loss is that they had to sell their land to get out of debt that they were in.

- One effect of Maori Land Loss was, Maori saying goodbye to their land.Their land was very important to them, it is where they grew up and where home will always be.
- Another success,business is growing.
- WHY HAS THIS HAPPENED TO US?!OUR HOME!!!
- A rather MAJOR effect was pollution. Without the Maori taking care of their land pollution was making the lands and water ways suffer.
- So, due to the fact that the lands and water ways have been polluted, there was no way that Maori could gather food for themselves and their whanau.
