- David was a portrait of courage. He knocked down Goliath with a slingshot and a rock and cut his head off. Mediator: DAVID
- David committed adultery with Bathsheba, a naked women who David surrendered to temptation.
- After these relations she bears a son names Solomon.
- David sought to build a temple. He did this for the ark so it could live in a beautiful home like his own. Covenant with David: ONE HOLY KINGDOM
- I'm a king!
- Here David conquered the place where he would build his palace/ kingdom. This was his city. He was the king of Israel and Judah (Northern and Southern Kingdoms). Mountain: MT. ZION
- Sign: JESUS IN HEAVEN ON HIS THRONE (DESCENDANTS)
- Presumably God let David know that his descendants would be Jesus. He would sit on the throne that governs the whole world eternally.

- To summarize the story of David: David was a great king who rebuilt a temple. His son Solomon succeeded him and became the next king of Israel. He established the first temple in Jerusalem and was the last ruler of the United Kingdom.
