  • There are so many nests in the storeroom. My mom told me to clean it. Could you help me to clear the nests, Bodh Raj?
  • Sure.
  • Bodh Raj Turning Over a New Leaf
  • Will he destroy the nests, pull out the birds' feathers and break the eggs?
  • These are the Ganga Mynah's Chicks. Ganga Mynahs are usually not found in these areas.
  • Don't hit the kite, it will attack you! Let's get out of here!
  • The narrator's mom asks the narrator to take his friend, Bodh Raj's (who loves to destroy nests) help. So, Bodh Raj accepted to help.

  • The narrator gets worried about whether Bodh Raj would harm the nests. Before the narrator could say anything, Bodh Raj took out his catapult and started firing pebbles.

  • The pebbles that Bodh raj let fly missed the birds' nest. The first one hit the iron sheet and the second one hit the pole. He was angry with himself. Then, a kite came. Bodh Raj knew that the kite would harm the chicks. So, he aimed and shot pebbles at the kite. Kite used to ravage the nest, so there were flesh and straws on the floor.

  • Bodh Raj hands the catapult to the narrator and asks him to keep throwing pebbles at the kite, while Bodh Raj will climb the broken chair and bring the nest down.
  • Bodh Raj takes the nest and they hide in the garage, safe from the kite. Then they feed the birds with water as Bodh Raj analyzed that the birds had been shouting for a long time.
  • Bodh Raj understood from this event, how people and animals feel when being attacked. He changed his violent behavior and he starts caring for others.
