- Rising Action
- I will not leave you in the mountains. Stay down there for 2 years.
- Once there was a farmer and his mother, The Wise Old Woman, who lives in a village in Japan.
- Climax
- I AM LORD HIGA! DO THESE TASKS OR I WILL TAKE OVER YOU VILLAGE!
- The young lord had a decree that anyone who is 71 or older shall be sent to the mountains to die.
- Falling Action
- Tell me, how did you get all of these answers?
- Then one day the farmer's mother turned 71 and the farmer knew that he had to take her to the mountains. He took her to the mountains and relized that he couldn't do that, so he took her back to his house. After that he dug a hole in the kitchen and hid her in it for 2 years.
- Resolution
- I have been very wrong. Elders have great knowledge from their past. They will no longer be sent to the mountains. I am very sorry.
- Until one day Lord Higa sends the village 3 impossible tasks. If they don't Lord Higa will conquer their village.
- The farmer tells the young lord how to do all of the tasks. The young lord asked how the farmer solved the impossible tasks. The farmer told him that he got all of the answers from his mother and that he was hiding her in his kitchen for 3 years.
- I have kept my mother in a hole in our kitchen. I have got all of my answers from her. I am so sorry.
- The young lord relized that he was wrong to send people who turn 71 to the mountains to die. When he relized this he got rid of his decree and he apoligized to the village.
