  • In October of 1929 the stock began to heavily decline. Investors tried selling stocks, which made stocks go down in price. Everyone sold everything they could to earn their money back
  • Stock Market Crash
  • Dust Bowl
  • Bankruptcy
  • Farmers had nothing after the Great Depression. Most sold their lands, and their livelihoods were destroyed
  • Banks failures were occurring all over causing people to lose their savings. Roosevelt created a "Bank holiday" to rebuild confidence from the Great Depression

  • Millions lost their jobs and their homes because they didn't get paid their debts back from the Great Depressions stock market crash
  • Many didn't have enough money to pay for their houses, people sold everything to have a chance to survive
