- Sir Cortés we have been talking to the locals while traveling to the empire's capital and we have discovered that they have a rather robust trade system based on bartering, they also do ritualistic sacrifices in the name of their "Gods".
- Yes that is all good but remember to keep your eyes on the prize the objective is to get all the gold possible and kidnap the king to get even more riches.
- Ok that is all good but do you have any gold?
- It is a pleasure to finally meet you great Quetzalcoatl although why you would take on this weak form of flesh is unknown to me we have prepared many rituals, offerings of goods and pieces of architectural art in your name.
- Of course we do but those offerings shall be given to you later today.
- Cortés sir we are ready to launch a counter attack to the Aztec capital especially since we have convinced some of the local tribes that were upset at Aztec rule to ally with us and help in our counter attack.
- Everything is going according to plan after this victory I shall return to Spain and show off all the riches to the king of Spain to show how much of a worthy servant I am to him.
- They conquistadores are discussing the economic systems and different architecture and art of the Aztec Empire, but they still primarily are seeking for riches like gold.
- After this conversation between Cortés and the Aztec Emperor was kidnapped and killed by the Spanish, which were then drove out of the Aztec Capital by the enraged Aztec.
- This conversation took place a couple of years later after the whole incident when the Spanish killed the Aztec emperor and this is them preparing the counter attack, which spoiler ended up being a success.
