- Because no one thinks Spooner has been attacked by robots, his superior takes away his badge
- The Crossing of the return Threshold
- Spooner searches for the bridge in Sonny's dream and discovers a large bundle containing all previously utilized robots, and learns the truth
- Freedom to live
- Sonny fighting off other robots in order to get the nanites back to kill VIKI
- They kill VIKI, which turns off the “kill” mode on the robots and the world is back to normal
- Spooner now lives at peace with the robots and becomes friends with Sonny
