  • Bob and Warrior are in the great plains looking for the wild herd of mustangs. Bob was originally a slave and never learned to read or write.

  • Bob tries to do many things to find the mustangs even if it means freezing at night. Bob gets cold at night but can not make a fire because the mustangs might smell the smoke on his clothing. Later Bob and Warrior find the herd and follow close behind and try not to get seen.

  • Bob comes Face to face with a mustang still far away, they locked eyes and Bob knew he had been accepted. Him and warrior rode with the herd for a long time still Bob tried to act one with the horses
  • falling action/resolution

  • Bob is riding with the herd when he sees a snake next to the colt and knows whats gonna happen and Bob think that all animals have the right to protect them selves. The snake bites the colt and the colt falls to the ground and the stallion gets worried for her colt and by the the colt was already dead. Bob then knew what he had to do.
  • He knew now was the time to take over because the stallion would not have the heart to fight as hard. Bob charged Warrior at the stallion and the horses fought until the stallion reatreted. Bob and Warrior were Triumphant
  • Bob and Warrior took over the herd after successfully beating the stallion and after reaching back at camp in which Bob and Warrior stayed at with the herd following as if being held on a leash, both Bob and Warrior realised that they still wanted to ride free.
