- The hamartia of the story is: Simba thinks he is to blame for the death of his father, so he is feeling a lot of guilt and sorrow. He refuses to return home because of fear of rejection.

- The Hubris of the story is: Simbas hubris is when his pride stops him from returning to the pride lands. He is supposed to become the leader but he disregards it.

- When Simba finally decides to return home, he challanges scar, the one who really killed mufasa, and regains power over the pride lands.

- The Anagnoisis of the story is: Simba Makes the discovery that His father is dead because of the the wilderbeast stampede.
