- Genghis Khan became the ruler of the Mongol's and brought together Turkic and Mongol tribes in 1206
- The Mongols military was very advanced compared to other empires and was able to overpower anyone they came across
- The empire grew and he sent invasions everywhere and eventually created a huge empire that connected the east and west
- The mongols led and controlled the silk road which caused it to flourish and led to new discoveries and tons of goods and ideas to be exchanged in eurasia
- The mongols would also assert there dominance by inflicting fear upon other people and even used violence
- in the end the Mogols conquered about 11-12 million square mile of Eurasia and had multiple people bowing before them
