- The Prophesied Fate of Paul (21: 12-14)
- I am prepared not only to be bound but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
- Thus says the holy Spirit: This is the way the Jews will bind the owner of this belt in Jerusalem, and they will hand him over to the Gentiles.
- The Accusations Against Paul (21: 28)
- This is the man who is teaching everyone everywhere against the people and the law and this place, and what is more, he has even brought Greeks into the temple and defiled this sacred place.
- The Arrest of Paul (21: 33-36)
- Away with him!
- When Paul visits Caesarea and stays at the house of Philip the evangelist, a prophet comes to Paul and declares his fate. The local residents beg him not to go to Jerusalem, but he rebukes them.
- The Israelites accuse Paul of conspiring against the people, the law, and God.
- The Israelites riot and attempt to kill Paul. News that Jerusalem is rioting reaches the cohort commander, who arrests Paul based on the rioters claims.
