- King Prosper introduces the Red Death, a plague affecting in his kingdom.
- Climax
- King Prospero invites all the noble, healthy, and unaffected people in his kingdom in his castle to have a masquerade ball. He thinks if they stay in there they can avoid the plague going on outside.
- Falling Action
- As the guests arrive in the castle they are surprised by the amazing rooms Prospero has in his castle. Every room is a different color, ending in the far west, the last room is black with red windows and the guest find it so disturbing no one dares to enter.
- Resolution
- As the masquerade ball occurs, when midnight approaches a unexpected guest appears and its dressed as a victim of the Red Death. It has red spots all over his skin.
- When King Prospero approaches the intruder, as he gets close to him he dies.
- When the other guests approach the intruder they also die. The Red Death infiltrate's the castle and King Prosper attempts to escape death are failed.
