- After the French and Indian war Britain was left with a lot of debt and the king had enforced and introduced taxes
- Quartering Act
- King George banned colonists from the west of Appalachian mountains soldiers were watching the mountains just to make sure
- Boston Massacre
- Because the people don't like taxes they decide to boycott . boycotting is taxation without representation in parliament.
- The Intolerable Acts

- Soldiers staying in people homes making sure they follow rules also the people who own the house the soldiers are staying in have to care for them as well by feeding them, giving them water, etc.
- 5 people died but the colonists called it a massacre so it would scare the other colonists into fighting back against king george
- Taking away things as a punishment such as closing Boston harbor, more troops to Boston which also means more soldiers watching you, and third British control over colonial government
