- Stephen's day started in a shack where they slept on the floor. He needs to get up early to go to work on the plantation. If not, harsh punishments were given to those who will not comply.

- Stephen's day ends with him eating dinner. This food had really low quality, and they give him really low amounts, they give him the amount of food that can maintain him alive.
