- The French & Indian war started because of territory disputes over a "Ohio river" Ohio River was mainly used for trade that expanded quickly. But British came over and tried claiming Ohio river as theirs, leading into war that spreaded like wildfire

- The Boston tea party occured because of the "taxation without representation". The europeans implemented this to americas for the costly war that happened. The colonist decided to ease their anger by throwing 342 chest of tea into harbor dressed as native americans to get passed the soldiers to get access to the ship.
- Stamp Act- March 22, 1765
- The coercive acts was 4 laws that british parliament to punish colony of massachusetts for the bay of the boston tea party. King george the III supported the laws on may 20th and assisted. Revived the hatred between the british and americans causing more tensions.
- First continental congress convenes- September 5th , 1774
- The Boston Massacre happened because their was angry patriot mob mad about them paying taxes they regularly bought that had a stamp on the receipt (stamp act). Tensions broke loose and the angry mob started throwing rocks, snow, stick at the soldiers. The soldiers lost temper and shot at the mob killing somebody. Concluding to many more soldiers to shoot.
- The act happened because the 7 year war costed Europe major bankruptcy and the war was costly causing Europe to put taxes on items on the Americas to replenish their wealth. Causing Massachusetts to experiment with the stamp act. Then the English also started paying the taxes when it was implemented "stamp act" causing many Americans to get angry about the taxes they have to pay. Causing a riot that began right after the protest
- The First Continental Congress convenes was held in the carpenters hall in philadelphia . During that meeting their was 12 british colonies and 3 americans colonies. Lead and passed the parliament called "stamp act" opposition to the taxes. With is enactment on november causing many colonist trying to boycott british goods.
