  • hey sister! Did you schedule your appointment to get the COVID-19 vaccine?
  • Hey! Not yet i'm still a little scared to get it, i'm not sure what the effects can be since its still in the early stage.
  • Well lets look its up and get the details!
  • What causes COVID-19?
  • Covid-19 is caused by a virus called SARS-CoV-2
  • inside the virus is the RNA. Surrounding it is called the ENVELOPE
  • Click NEXT to know how it gets in our body!
  • The red things sticking out of the virus is called the SPIKE PROTEINS
  • lets book that appointment and the doctor can explain more!
  • The RNA inside the virus sneaks inside one of your cells . Soon creating more of the virus RNA from the polymers of the original RNA .
  • The virus is travels from one another by coughs and germs
  • Wow! This is great info. But will i get the virus if i get the vaccine?
  • What will happen once i get the vaccine?
  • When you get the vaccine a small piece of the virus will be transported into your body. Although this is not dangerous it will only help your body get to know the intruder and learn how to fight it off!
  • Side-note about the virus its self. The mutations in the virus will become more stable meaning it will become more deadly to human, but since we do have the vaccine for it the mutations occur less frequently making it safe.
  • If you are curious about the virus and such things related, feel free to look at my board!
  • Covid testing When getting tested for COVID-19 the test looks for any RNA.
  • Antibodies help fight off the intruder or the virus.
  • Antibodies are the good-guys that help fight off any germs or viruses that enter your body/cells.
  • Okay thank you for the help!
  • I'm really glade we both got the vaccine! Hopefully soon our lives can go back to normal
  • Yes! I feel much better with her explaining what it does exactly too!
