- Howard Carter searched for 5 years and was nearly going to have to stop searching, but he got some extra money from Lord Carnarvon.
- It must be around here somewhere, if only we had more money to keep searching
- A waterboy found a stone when putting a water jar down. As they dug down they found it was steps into the tomb of Tutankhamen
- Mr Carter, I found this hard stone, what is it doing here?
- Death shall come on swift wings to him who disturbs the peace of the king
- Robbers had been in the tomb but they hadn't found the chamber with all the treasure in
- After the find some strange things happened which made people think the curse at the tomb entrance was true. Two weeks after the find Lord Carnarvon died.
- Today, the treasure is kept at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
