Storyboard Text

  • Although Francine did not save the people from the fire, her painting – her obvious compassion conveyed through the painting – saved their hearts from hatred. To them, she is a hero who helped them avoid any more regrets and look ahead, to the future.
  • THE CITY OF GRAY : THE END
  • Thankfully, Francine Grace’s family escaped from the fire without any scratches. But even if she did not lose any loved ones, her heart aches. It aches to see its home now turned into ashes.
  • Yet whilst grieving for their loss of home, Francine Grace was suddenly inspired to paint. But that burning passion became her driving force to move forward.
  • In this world – this city – it is so hard to live in.
  • Once the city of gray is now rebuilt, the mayor fulfilled her promise to display Francine Grace’s painting of the old gray city which is now much more colorful and peaceful than before.
  • And once the painting was displayed, many people looked in wonder. The painting made them reminiscent of the city’s past visuals. Unexplainably giving a bittersweet taste to their hearts.
  • Hence, giving the painting not just a present but a symbolism of a new beginning as well.
  • A month after finishing the piece, Francine and her family went to return to the city of gray which they heard was getting renovated. Francine and her family all decided to give the painting as a present to the mayor who volunteered to rebuild the city of gray.
  • However, even if Francine worked hard to pursue art to come home with a diploma in hand. There were things she could not prevent from happening.
  • I should just ignore them and focus studying.
  • Hey, did you know that Francine Grace was born and raised in the city of gray? The district where crimes always occur.
