Storyboard Text

  • Charlie was sitting in his room trying to finish his homework. He was supposed to give a speech about his Hero but he didn't know who to do. Since he wasn't really focusing he decided to go outside and play with his soccer ball for a bit.
  • Come on we have to get to the window Goldie. I can hear sirens.
  • Goldie, come on we need to get out of here.
  • 
  • Who is Your Hero?
  • Who is my Hero?
  • Thank you you saved me. You are my hero.
  • Oh no a fire is blocking the stairs. What am I going to do.
  • So I guess anyone can be a hero.
  • As Charlie walked out of his bedroom he was shocked. His house was on fire. He started to panic. Then he remembered the fire safety class from school.
  •  He crawled into the closest room with the biggest window. The room was starting to fill with smoke when he got to the window. He stood up and opened the window. As he looked out the window he saw the flashing lights as he pulled Goldie into his arms.
  • Charlie new he needed to stay low to the ground. His dog 'Goldie' ran over to him and Charlie wanted to save him as well. He found a t-shirt in his bedroom doorway to put over his face so he didn't breathe in smoke. Outside sirens were getting closer to the house.
  • Who is your Hero?
  • Today you are the Hero. You respond exactly like you supposed to in this situation and you were able to save Goldie.You should be very proud of yourself.
  • When Charlie got to the ground the Firefighter kneeled in front of him to check if he was ok. Charlie realised who his hero was going to be. Then the firefighter started to tell him that he was actually a hero. Charlie had done everything right he had stayed calm, stayed low to the ground and not inhaled to much smoke.
