Look at all those bunnies! Mommy, three of them have whiter fur than the other 2, arent they all supposed to be white if they live in the Arctic?
Those are Arctic Hares honey, normally they all have white fur, to blend in the snow but sometimes this can happen because of natural selection.
NATURAL SELECTION
A few minutes later...
You see, this is called Natural Selection, or survival of the fittest. Survival of the fittest consists on an animal or organism that fits better for the envitonment. This doesn't mean it has to be the strongest or fastest.
You see, Arctic Hares have thick, white fur to blend in with the snow, so their predators, or animals who eat them won't find them easily.
???
GOTCHA!
Oh shoot! I better run if I dont wanna end up being his dessert!
But if our little friend can't blend with the snow, its predators will spot him easier and eat him.
Finally! Im starving!
NATURALSELECTION
OH! I get it! So its like a puzzle, its not the most colorful or biggest piece, its the one that fits in a certain spot!
