- Bertha and her friends and family are hunters and gatherers. Which means they hunt animals for their meat and gather berries, nuts and plants for food.They use hand made tools to hunt such as axe like tools with a stone end, Rocks with a carved blade and hand held axes. They also had to move and follow where the animals are to hunt them.
- How many berries do you have?
- Kill the turkey!

- Later that day, Bertha tripped and fell and spilled all of the berries and wheat all over the ground.
- Once the people found about farming, they started practicing it and found long term solutions for continuous food supply.Now they did not have to move after the animals because they had food in one place which meant they could build permanent homes.

- We spent all day collecting those and now we don't have any for dinner.
- Really?!
- Seriously?!
- As their knowledge grew on building, farming and other stuff, they learned to enlarge their village into a city which is where we live in present day.

- Few days later they came to know that the wheat dropped by Bertha had grown into a wheat crop.
- That's weird, this is the exact spot where I fell.
- Maybe your fall wasn't so bad after all.
- The wheat must have grown from the insides of the wheat.

- Once farming got more advanced people came together to farm and eventually formed a village. That's when they learned how to make tools that will help them farm and do other things such as cook, play and make clothes. The tools included pots, kitchen tools, sports tools, and different materials to make clothing.
- I'm going to pick corn.
- Wait up Bertha! What are you doing today?
