- ckels sees a sign saying he could kill anything if he went on this safari, so he met Mr. Travis and showed him the time machine.
- What could stop Eckels is when they go there either the T-rex they are hunting for could attack them and they die or he changes the past and it affects the future.
- Eckels, Mr. Travis, and Lesperance arrived where dinosaurs still existed, they got out of the machine had their oxygen masks and they started going over the rules with Eckles so they make sure nothing bad happens and affects the future and epically number one rule no stepping off then path.
- The come face to face with the T-rex they were trying to find, Eckels starts panicking and the T-rex sees them and then the T-rex all of a sudden dies from a big tree landing on it, but Eckels while that was happening was panicking and stepped off the path and ran for a little.
- They took picture with the dead T-rex and decided to go back to the machine and go home, but while they were walking back they noticed that Eckels had dirt and mud on his shoes and Mr. Travis and Lesperance found out he stepped off the path and they didn't think anything of it so they went back but when they went back things were different
- When they got back so much was different and the present change because Eckels stepped on a butterfly and killed it, so Mr. Travis shift his rifle, click the safety, and raise the weapon and you heard the gunshot go off
