  • EGYPT
  • Once the Hittites made their monumental military empire, they decided to attack Egypt at the battlefields of Kadesh, despite the fact that they had made a treaty with them for "everlasting peace" in 1259 BCE!
  • ANATOLIA (Hittites)
  • KADESH
  • BABYLON
  • ASSYRIA
  • Egypt's Ramses II then proceeded to march to Kadesh, at the meeting point of Babylon, Assyria and Egypt. A meeting point of the three great empires would be useful in the Hittites's quest for domination. This was a battle that was going to decide the fate of the ancient Middle East.
  • READY THE ARMY! ALL OF IT! FOR WE SHALL DEFEND OUR LAND AND MARCH ON TO KADESH!
  • Meanwhile, the Hittites, led by Prince Hattushili, general of the Hittite army, hosted an army of around 380 million, and were armed to the teeth. Their army was as formidable as Egypt's, or possibly even more formidable. Why, you may ask, could their army be more formidable than the army of the civilisation that built the great pyramids?
  • Your men, the charioteers and the infantry must be ready by tomorrow. We attack at first light!
