- The socs are trying to jump Ponyboy. They are trying to keep up with him so they can get him down to have him get a haircut.At the end his group comes and chases the Socs away.
- Dally gives the girls drinks but this makes Cherry even more mad at him. So she throw the drink on him which makes him run off. So Pony sits with the girls because he feels bad for them.
- Darry gets mad at Ponyboy because he didn't come home earlier. So Pony decides to run way and is going to get Johnny to run away with him. Them don't end up run away they stop to cool down.
