- After carrying a protest against Juarez's and Lerdo's presidency, Diaz became president in 1877, for almost three and a half decades.
- Regardless of Diaz's poor governance, he managed to make Mexico an industrialized country; Building factories, dams, railroads, etc.
- Campesinos, being the back bone of the revolution, were disappointed on the lack of good president that Diaz was and the poor treatment they were under.
- In 1910, Francisco Modero, Pascual Orozco, Pancho Villa, and Emiliano Zapata, with other revolutionaries, lead the Mexican revolution until 1920
- Mexican Revolution was a movement mainly against Diaz's dictator shipment and the role of the Catholic Church;Diaz gave the church a governmental voice in 1905.
