- The difference between the anaconda and the earl is that the earl mis cruel and the anaconda isn't.
- The difference between a man and a cat is that the man inflicts pain for the pleasure, while the cat plays with a frightened mouse but she doesn't actually know that the mouse is suffering.
- Man is the only animal that deals in the atrocity of war. He is the only one that gathers his brethren about him and goes forth in cold blood and with calm pulse to exterminate his kind.
- They all live together in peace, even affectionately.
