- Wow! so beautiful!
- I can't let her see me!
- Wow! nice home! But still her husband is a monster.
- After some time, Psyche grew lonely and asked her sisters to visit. Her sisters felt jealous of her living in such a nice home, so they told her that her husband was some kind of a monster, and they came up with a plan for her to see.
- You should secretly visit your husband. Let's see if he really is a monster, bring a lantern and a knife with you.
- I'll try..
- Eros?!
- Out of surprised, Eros ran to the window and flew off. Psyche jumped out after him, but fell and lay on the ground unconscious.
- After Psyche woke up, she went to the temple of Aphrodite and prayed for help. But Aphrodite, still jealous of Psyche, gave her four tasks to do-- tasks that she believed Psyche would not be able to accomplish.
- Beauty
- After accomplishing the first three tasks, Aphrodite accused her of having had help. So for her last task, she asked Psyche to go into hell and meet Persephone, wife of Hades, for a box of magic makeup. Psyche think she was doomed and decided to end it all by jumping off the cliff. But a voice helped her and gave instruction for her to meet Persephone.
- But on the way back home, she was unable to restrain herself from peeking inside that put her into a deep sleep. Eros could no longer look and he wakened her
- You must not look inside the box under any circumstances!
- Beauty
- Our daughter will be named Pleasure!
- I need a cup of ambrosia, the drink of immortality.
- Drink this my love, and we can be together continuously.
