- Rome is located in Italy it is a Peninsula. It kinda looks like a boot the way its shaped. Its kinda in a Mediterranean sea.
- Etruscan influence of sports on the Roman's
- The myth of Roman is a princess gave birth to twin boys . There father was Mars a roman god. The twins uncle wanted death for the twins because of jealousy. The twins uncle put them in the Tiber River. A she-wolf then helped them and took care of them like they were her own. Then when the twins got older they built the great city of Rome which was near the river where the she-wolf found them. The wolf helped the twins all them years.
- Greek influence of architecture on the Roman civilization
- The Romans were in the field of engineering. There were lots of arches and they would rest on two pillars. It held up the half circle and there's a wedged shaped stones. To drain swamps, and to take water to their various cities they would use cuniculus.
- Greek influence of writing, art, and religion on the Romans
- The Romans did lots of sports like chariot racing and other things. In chariot racing you could get in a lot of danger when doing the race. The race is with horses and the carage's they would race really fast.
- The Romans borrowed and adapted ideas from the Greeks as well as the Etruscan's. Greek architecture was one important on the Romans. There were marble temples for their gods. The Romans used Greek designs on their own public buildings. The Circus Maximus could seat more than 200,000 spectators.
- Etruscan's and the Romans both admired pottery, painting and sculptures. The pottery was cool throughout the Mediterranean world for the pottery's usefulness and beauty. The wealthy Romans collected Greek art and built monuments in a Greek style. The Greek influence of Romans culture is indirect. The Romans wrote in all capital letters which is different from us today. Many Roman writers were inspired by Greek poetry and myths.
