- First, light energy from the sun hits the chloroplasts of a plant cell. A chemical inside the chloroplasts called chlorophyll absorbs the energy.

- What is photosynthesis?
- Do you want to know the process of photosynthesis?
- Yes, photosynthesis allows me to make my own food.
- In fact, Mr. Tree is doing it right now.

- Second, water molecules are absorbed from the roots and transferred into the leaves.
- Lastly, the carbon dioxide, sunlight, and water help create glucose, oxygen exits the plant as well.
- Third, carbon dioxide enters the plant through stomata.
- FINN!! LUNCH TIME
