- Steve walks in the drugstore to check for police.
- Bobo and King enter the store and argue with Mr. Nesbitt. Lorelle Henry notices the argument and leaves.
- Neither Lorelle Henry nor Steve notice each other while Steve walks around and checks the store.
- After Bobo and King take all of the bills from the cash register and some packs of cigarettes, they leave the store.
- Steve finishes checking and leaves the store. He does not give any signal to King, Bobo, or Osvaldo.
- The argument intensifies and turns into a struggle between King and Mr. Nessbitt. King gets a hold of Mr. Nesbitt's gun and shoots him.
