- Penelope Rex is nervous about going to school for the first time.
- What are my classmates going to be like? How many teeth will they have?
- It's okay Penelope! Here is a brand new backpack for school! With a yummy lunch that dad made!
- The day had finally came, for Penelope to go to school!
- Have a good day Penelope!
- Bye Mom!
- But when Penelope walked into her classroom, something was different.
- Oh my! They are all CHILDREN!!! NOT DINOSAURS!!!
- To make Penelope feel better her mom got her a brand new backpack for the first day of school, and inside of it was a yummy lunch that dad made for her!
- So Penelope did something she shouldn't have done... She ate all the students! And her teacher was NOT happy!!
- Penelope spit your classmates out right now! We do NOT eat our classmates!!
- Penelope was still nervous but excited to meet her new friends!
- Penelope tried really hard to make new friends. She tried playing with them at recess, eating with them at lunch, and talking to them!
- Hey let's be friend!!
- I'm so glad we are friends!!
- All her Classmates were.... CHILDREN!!!
- When Penelope Rex got home she talked with her parents about her first day of school. She also told them about how she ate her classmates.
- Penelope sometimes it is hard to make friends. Especially when we eat them. Children do not like to be eaten.
- So, Penelope Rex did. Penelope figured out that this was not the best way to start school but Penelope still wanted to have a good first day!
- But she then noticed that everyone was making friends except her, and she was very lonely and sad.
- Penelope understood why she shouldn't eat her friends so she decided to go to bed and get a good nights rest, because she had A LOT to think about.
