- Shot 3
- Scott, if she means that much to you then you have to tell her.
- Don’t do anything stupid though!
- Yeah, you’re right.
- INT. CLASSROOMAction: SCOTT (17) is in front of the classroom giving a presentation. MADDY (17) walks into the classroom and tries to sneak on by. MR BROOKS (36) is disappointed that she has interrupted a speech.
- Shot 4
- How was school?
- Action: Maddy shrugs off Mr Brooks and sits down. Scott hasn’t taken his eyes off of her since she walked in. Scott develops a sweat and fixes up his glasses. The classmates begin to chuckle. Maddy has not even looked up to see what is going on. Mr Brooks gives the students a stern look. Scott goes to speak but instead lets out a high pitched squeak. Everyone laughs at Scott as he walks out of the room.

- INT. CORRIDORAction: JIMMY (17) chases after him. Scott runs off down the corridor.
- Shot 6
- Did you get bullied today again?
- Mum! What are you doing in here!?Get out!
- INT. HOUSEAction: Scott runs through the front door. His mother, JUDY (47), notices him as she watches her afternoon television. Scott runs straight past her to go to his room.
- INT. ROOMAction: He sits down at his desk and gets the webcam ready. He pulls out an acoustic guitar that looks like it has never been touched before. He clicks the mouse to start recording. He begins to attempt to play the guitar and sing. It is obvious that he cannot do either. Scott uploads the video online and sends the link to Maddy via a private message.
- Maddy, I wish I had your touch. Don’t you know, I miss you very much?
- This one is for you, Maddy.
- And uploaded, this is it.
- Action: His mother, concerned he didn’t respond before, enters his room. Scott leaves to go to work.
- I just came to see if you were alright before you go to work.
- Alright, just trying to be a good mother.
- Mum please!
