- My name is Shani. This storyboard will focus on the Mississippian Civilization.
- The Mississippian Civilization was located along the Mississippi River valley. This helped them provide water for their crops.
- Structures left behind showed that the people were ruled by religious leaders. These leaders were priest-rulers. The structures were earth mounds, lodges, and temples.
- Some cultural traditions were created by cultivators, artists, and craftsmen. Corn, beans, and squash were cultivated for farming. For celebrations and entertainment, headdresses, ritual weapons and masks were created.
