- This is the Nile River. The Nile River had four main advantages, one as you can see here is mud. Mud could be used for making pots and houses.
- This is the second advantage. See over there those are the reeds. Egyptians could use reed for making paper, or shoes.
- This is probably the most obvious advantage and probably the most helpful too. Water, water was used for drinking, giving to animals and plants, and Egyptians could fish in the water too.
- The last advantage is transportation and trade. Egyptians could travel down and up the river by boat. Boats can carry a lot of objects so merchants can bring a lot of goods for trade.
