  • Egyptians used to preserve dead bodies and put them in wooden box called sarcophagus.
  • When Pharaohs or an important person dies, Egyptians wrap the dead body and put it in wooden boxes called sarcophagus.
  • Since Egypt have floods in between June and September, the fertile becomes rich and the Egyptians plant crops. They use those crops to trade goods and if they get punished by the ruler, they will have to pay the price with their own goods.
  • Egyptians also built sculptures and wrote on clay tablets. They also had rulers called pharaohs that controlled the land. This is how we know so much about Egypt.
