- Before Martial Law started, a crazy young gangling bean pole man left Manila, Philippines just as his father suffered from diabetes. Through his father's sickness, he was discouraged to continue engineering college, due to family's business. Yet the business should be close as soon as possible which has force Manuel to move to Brazil without her mom knowing it to be able to continue his career.
- Climax
- Not later on, after twenty years Manuel had decided to move back with his Brazilian Wife in his hometown. Upon hearing the news, aunt Mei lu excitedly pick-up the letter after reading she was depressed at the same time worried about what will be the life of his Son right now. Especially she is wondering about the appearance of the wife, which is expecting it to be white with Chinese blood in it. But it turns out opposite at first meet between them, that make aunt Mei Lu regret what happened to his son's life.
- Falling Action
- While Manuel conducted a reunion with relatives at Chinatown restaurant to introduce his wife , including its fortune. Aunt Mei Lu's diabetes condition worsen at this point, since the first meeting with Consuelo. Just after the dessert, there's a phone call from Carlo's mom telling that Aunt Mei Lu was rush to the hospital.
- Resolution
- Manuel seemed to lose hope while standing outside the ICCU, saying to Carlos that he is ruining everybody's life since he arrived. Thinking that it's best if he doesn't come home. Despite of the worst experience happened to him and Consuelo in Brazil, he wish for a better start up here yet it still result to another tragedy.
- After a deep conversation between them, Consuelo came into the ICCU which lightened her feelings, cried a lot upon seeing Aunt Mei Lu. Moreover, she tried to save Mei Lu by starting its healing process, that eventually work that make Aunt Mei Lu survive from comatose.
- On the succeeding days after healing in the hospital Consuelo and Manuel disappeared for five days. Then Manuel came back holding an urn looking sorrowful, Carlos was asking what happened, Manuel explains that Consuelo was dead, since he suffered from cardiac arrest in exerting effort healing Aunt Mei Lu.
