- Britain wanted the land the France had territory over so the colonists could move and start settling West.
- Britain started raiding French forts on France's territory and taking over their land.
- Britain ended up winning and taking over France's last territory in North America.
- All though the war was over, Native Americans were unhappy that Britain had just took over the land that they were on first and started getting violent.
- Britain wouldn't let the colonists start settling west because of the fighting going one between them and the Native Americans. They were left with a lot of debt after the war and started taxing the colonists for land that they couldn't even settle on.
- This created a lot of tension between Brain and the colonists. The colonist realized they didn't have much freedom because of Britain controlling them. This is believed to be one of the reason the American Revolution began.
