- “I know the things in my life and in our world because of my gut, I trust my gut it allows me and pushes me to know the truth in our world, to know what is certain.”
- “But how does your gut know the truth? How does your gut know true knowledge, to know what is certain?”
- “His gut is based on his own experiences or the sense of his experiences, there is no logic to his way of thinking, to his way of knowing and certainty. Aristotle, you believe you know certainty in life but how can you?"
- "When your judgement and knowledge is clouded by personal bias through experiences and influenced by emotion. You can’t know all there is to know in the world through your own sense perceptions it’s impossible.”
- “Only I can know things with certainty, only I can reach true knowledge with logical and reasonable thinking.”
- “But rational thinking is based upon the truth, reasoning is the source of proof.”
- “Are you sure that is complete certainty though? It only sounds like you have a way of finding knowledge in your life. But how can you know? How can you know something for certain?”
- “But if it is based on consciously making sense of situations, finding and applying logic along with adapting to the environment you are exposed to is it for certain? If you have a source of proof does that account to certainty? Or is it just knowledge?"
- “But I’m telling you Plato, that is how you know something for certain."
- “No Descartes, that what leads you to believe you have complete certainty with things in the world, but how do you know for sure? You cannot gain all knowledge and certainty through logic and reason, your way of thinking is flawed this way, is it not?
- “Well at least I don’t let my emotions get in the way of being certain of things like Aristotle!”
