- The Great Gatsby
- Nick leaves the room as Gatsby takes a hold of Daisy hand while they sit on Nicks couch forgetting he was ever there.
- "Now that Nick is gone I can finally tell you how much I've missed you and how long I've waited just to have this moment with you right now." says Gatsby gazing into Daisy's eyes. "Me too." says Daisy with a smirk.
- Gatsby leaning closer towards Daisy and says, "I know you are with Tom now but I can't help but tell you that I've loved you since I first laid eyes on you and I've waited so long just to be with again." Daisy with a worried look in her eyes says, "I do too Gatsby but I'm afraid of what Tom might do to you if he finds out."
- With an offensive look on Gatsby's face he says, "Don't you worry about me Daisy, I was in the Army no man will scare me." "No Gatsby you don't understand, Tom knows people and he will not hesitate to hurt you especially if its something that's his." says Daisy with a slight frown.
- "Daisy I promise you I won't let Tom hurt us, please come be with me I will protect us I know people too." he says as he looks sharply in her eyes and grips her hand. "I can't Gatsby you know I can't." Daisy says with tears in her eyes.
- Not knowing what to say or how to comfort Daisy, Gatsby sits there with his hand on Daisy's as she cries.
