  • where does the air go after passing the nose?
  • The Respiratory System does two important things it brings oxygen into our bodies,wich we need for our cells to live and function properly,and it help us to get rid of carbon dioxyde.
  • What happens to the air once it go to the lungs?
  • When inhale:air travels down the pharynx,passes throught your larynx [voice box] and into your trachea.
  • How does the body use this oxygen to provide energy for the body?
  • The 2 air passages on your trachea is called bronchiat tubes.One bronchial tube leads to the left lung,the other to the right lung.
  • What happens once the air leaves the lungs?
  • Air enters your lungs when you inhale and oxygen goes from the air moves from your lungs to the blood at the same time carbon dioxyde moves from your blood to the lungs and is exhaled.
  • Cellular respiration:The body cells use the oxygen your breath to get energy from the food we eat.
  • When we exhale,the diaphragme and rib muscles relax,reducing the space in the chest activity when this happen the chest get smaller,your lungs deflate
