- There were ten virgins attending a wedding and they were waiting for the bridegroom to come and take them to the wedding party. They did not know when he was coming.

- Five of the virgins were smart, and five were foolish. The smart virgins brought extra oil for their lamps while five didn't..
- Soon night came and they all fell asleep. Soon the bridegroom yelled and half of the virgins needed oil for their lamps so they needed to go get some.
- Behold the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!
- I am the bridegroom. I am here to take you to the wedding feast, this way.
- The bridegroom took the virgins that were ready into the feast and locked the door behind them
