- The Indus Valley Civivlization developed in the northwestern part of Indian subcontinent about 4700 years ago.It developed at th banks of the Indus river.One of the cities dicovered at 1921 was Harrapa. In 1922, similar excavations began at Mohenjo Daro. Evidences of several important buildings in the cities of the civilization.One of the largest buildings discovered in Mohenjo Daro is the Great bath.People which lived in the civilization demonstrated great skill in making bronze figurines such as the dancing girl, Preist king etc.
