- P.T. meets Gloria
- I´m Manuel ´Manny´ Ortega, new to the sports team at WTSP-Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, and Sarasotas channel ten.
- We just checked in, I´m Gloria. My dad lost our room key.
- So, what room are you guys in?...
- P.T. Wilkie is your average 11-year-old, a great storyteller, likes to impress people, and loves ice cream poolsides. He lives in a motel with his mom, grandpa, and cat, Cheeseball. He makes it known to everybody about the adventures that take place in his very own home through his tall tales and stories. This, of course, amazes people but, P.T. hides the real truth.
- P.T. and Gloria are determined to save Wonderland
- You know what a frog says when it sees something amazing?
- This is P.T.´s home, Wonderland. The cardboard figures are the creations of his grandfather, the famous, Walt Wilkie. Everything might look amazing and like a dream but in reality, it is really hard for his family. They own the bank and if the family does not pay them $100,000 in one month, then they would lose the motel.

- P.T.´s solution slowly arrives, Gloria. A few days later, P.T. meets an interesting family. They had just come for another key because the dad had dropped their previous key in the pool. But, for the struggling family of three, they were doing a huge favor. Gloria helps P.T. draw more attention to the outside crowd. And the two explorers go on the adventure of a lifetime that results in an even bigger friendship.

- P.T and Gloria became business partners and made great successes. One of their first moneymakers was Freddy the Frog. It started as a karaoke singalong for kids and college students and ended up as an everyday tourist attraction with customed ice cream and merch. But, a mystery slowly started to unfold right in front of their eyes.

- They figure out that there are two thieves hiding in the motel, the Sneemer brothers, Sid and Stanley. P.T. heard their loud argument and plotting to recover the $5,000,000 worth of diamonds and jewelry they had stolen back in 1973 and that was hidden by P.T.´s Grandpa´s girlfriend, Sheila. This was the big scoop that would save their motel. And, it was up to him and Gloria to find it.

- After a lot of looking and hunting, they had lost hope. Both Sid and Stanley´s postcards (that they had got from Sheila) had led them to the Smilin´ Sam statue. But, there was no sight of diamonds to be found. And, how they ended up in the safari is quite a story. There used to be a train in Wonderland called the Wonder World Express. And, that was Sheila´s favorite place in the whole entire Wonderland. So, along with Grandpa, P.T. and Gloria went to the safari (the place the train had been shipped to) to recover the diamonds and jewelry.
