- Odysseus decides it is time to go home, he was on the land of the Phaeacians and he tells them he needs to go home. The king gives him a boat and tells him he will have a group of his men go with him to his home. Odysseus says he himself should build the boat so they don't get punished for helping him. But the king insisted so the kingdom of the Phaeacians was forever forgotten after Odysseus got home.
- Odysseus is home, he is also disguised as an old beggar, and he sees the 108 suitors, and he witnesses them trying to kill his son, Telemachus, and then the old nurse sees them. Then the nurse notices that there is a scar on the old beggar's leg and knows that it is Odysseus. She then takes both of them into the palace and starts planning the attack on the suitors.
- Penelope has a competition to determine who she will marry, Odysseus still in disguise does the competition knowing that he will win. He then kills all of the suitors with the bow that he strung as part of the competition. He then hangs the handmaid who had betrayed him and then starts to talk with his dearest Penelope.
