- *After eating the virus the antigens rise to the cell membrane
- *The phagocyte spots the pathogens and kills or eats it*
- *Like stimulant or coffee for cells*
- *The phagocyte then attaches on to a T cell floating around and then activates it by releasing chemicals, then shows the T cell the antigen of the pathogen.*
- The cell splits into two different types of T cells; an activated cell that will help other body cells destroy themselves when too infected, and also destroy viruses (cytotoxic function). The memory cells keep records for future infections, so that they know exactly what pathogen it is from the antigens and know what protein to make.
