  • Thank you for joining us on the news tonight as we talk about one of our most major concers about people drinking alcohol.

  • This is a very concering topic especially for teens. Teens want to drink for amny reasons such as to fit it, feel older, and curiosity.
  • Uhh...hi, my name is Daniel. It is none of your business concering what I am doing.
  • Why do you care? It doesn't affect you and I'm choosing to do it.
  • Hi! My name is Mary. What are you doing sitting here?
  • Well, it looks like you are doing something you shouldn't be doing...drinking?
  • Oh my, I don't want my body to be affected in all of these ways. Now I see your point.
  • Well what did the news say?
  • Well, I have to admit that I was getting ready to go to the bar with my friends but now since you told me how dangerous it was to drink I want to tell my other friends before the party starts. Will, you come with me?
  • Well apparently you didn't see the news report last night then. It was talking about the dangers of alcohol and how it can affect you.
  • Sure, lets hurry fast before the party starts and someone gets drunk and hurts themselves and has to go to the hospital.
  • It listed the dangers of alcohol and how it can affect you. It can cause heart damage, brain damage, liver damage, memory loss, and because you are a teen it can affect your growing body and mind. Drinking can put you in the hospital as well.
  • This first comic block is a news report on drinking alcohol which is a very concerning topic, especially for teens.
  • I don't see my friends anywhere, do you Mary?
  • Come on I see them drinking at the bar, hurry!
  • The second comic strip shows two characters, Mary and Daniel. Daniel is drinking alcohol and Mary ask him what he is doing and Mary finds out he is drinking.
  • Who is that with you?
  • Do you want a drink?
  • Hey Daniel! Glad you could make it.
  • This is Mary and no I do not want a drink, that is exactly what I was gonna talk to you all about today.
  • I'm Mary.
  • The third comic strip shows Mary telling Daniel about the news report last night on how dangerous drinking alcohol could be and its effects. Mary explains the effects of drinking alcohol. After Daniel hears the effects of drinking, he admits that he was getting ready to leave to go to the bar with his friends before Mary started talking to him and he wants to tell his friends about the dangers of drinking. Mary is going to go with him because they need to hurry before someone gets drunk and something happens.
  • Wow! We had no idea alcohol could do this to you. Lets go and we promise to never drink again.
  • Mary had told me about the news report last night and it was a concering topic about alcohol. She told me all of the effects of drinking such as liver damage, heart damage, brain damage, memory loss, and because we are teens it will effect our body from growing.
  • Alright, now that you understand why alcohol is dangerous lets get out of here.
  • In the fourth comic block, Daniel doesn't see his friends anywhere but after they keep looking around Mary sees them at the bar drinking so they run to the bar.
  • In the fifth comic block, Mary finds Daniel's friends and they ask Daniel who was with him and did he want a drink. Daniel wants to tell them about the dangers of drinking.
  • Daniel tells them the dangers of drinking and now they understand why it's not good and they promise to never drink again. After this, they leave their drinks alone and walk out of the bar.
  • Mary saw me drinking on the street and she stopped and talked to me about the dangers of it. So now do you see why you don't need to drink?
