No sweetie, don't touch that thing. It's dead! Go inside and finish eating
no, i need to bury it!
End
I can't believe i have done this. Please doodle. Please wake up! I'm sorry.
The brother, his aunt, and father all waited for his mom to come home with the baby. There was a man holding a coffin that was originally made for Doodle because everyone thought he would die very soon. The aunt thinks that he will live longer than everyone else because of the piece of cloth he was born on.
As the family was eating lunch, they heard crowing from outside. They looked out and saw a Scarlet Ibis. They knew Scarlet Ibis wasn't a common bird for the area they were in and figured the storm brought it there. The bird continued to crow and suddenly straightened up. It fell to the ground and died. Doodle's mom was standing there telling doodle not to touch it and get back into the house to finish his lunch. He said he wasn't hungry and said he was going to bury it. He pulled out a string from his pocket and took it to the back.
The brother was angry with doodle and thought, as a punishment, he was going to leave him there. It was pouring rain and doodle cried and cried for his brother not to leave. His brother ran of and left him. He ran and ran till he didn't hear him. He figured it was long enough and went back to get him. When his brother got there, He saw that doodle was dead. He knew it was his fault. He cried and cried. Doodle was dead, because of him.
