  • Just as a planted seed starts to grow, the word of God starts to deepen and grow within a person. Some seed fell on the path and the birds ate it. The birds represent Satan.
  • The parable of the sower is an 'allegory' about the Kingdom of God.

  • Noo! Stop running over the seeds! And birds shoo! Shoo! Stop eating the crops!

  • One day a farmer was planting some seeds
  • Thorns how could you!!!
  • But while he was planting them, some of the seeds fell on the footpath where people came and walked over them and birds came to eat
  • WOO HOO!
  • Boys, we've hit the jackpot.
  • Other seeds were planted on shallow soil among rocks and the seed began to grow quickly because it was in shallow soil. But it soon whittled away in the sun. And since it didn't have deep roots, it died. 
  • Other seeds fell among thorns and they choked down the plants.
  • Other seeds fell on fertile soil and produce 100 times the amount that was planted.
